Zetttel with AI assistants

The connector lets an AI assistant read your list, add and check off items, assign stores and look at what you bought recently.

Connecting

  1. In your assistant, add a custom connector (MCP) with the address https://zett.tel/mcp.
  2. Connect it there. A page opens in your browser with a code like K7M-2QX.
  3. In Zetttel on your iPhone: Settings → Connections → Connect an assistant → enter the code → Allow.
  4. The page in your browser continues by itself. Done.

The assistant then acts as the family member who allowed it. Everyone in the family sees the connection in Settings and can disconnect it with a swipe.

What the assistant can do

  • Read the list (get_list): open items with their amount and who added them.
  • Add (add_items): e.g. "Put 500 g mince and two packs of pasta on the list." If something is already there, the amounts are added up.
  • Check off (check_items): e.g. "Check off milk and bread." The assistant asks first.
  • Assign a store (set_store): e.g. "We only buy bread at Alnatura." The item is then listed under that store.
  • Purchases (get_purchase_history): what you bought where in up to the last 90 days, e.g. "How often did we buy coffee this month?"

Data

The assistant only sees your list and the purchases of at most the last 90 days, and only while it is connected. More in the privacy policy.
